You and your kits
You don't need any experience. Our instructions will walk you through everything step by step, plus you can contact us with any questions.
Our kits are ideal for any outdoor space which receives a decent amount of sun during the summer. We recommend a minimum of 6 hours direct sunlight to ensure a good crop.
You won't need any special equipment. But if you want to feel like a pro from the start, here's what we'd suggest:
- A trowel (small shovel) to dig a small hole to insert your plant and move soil around. A clean hand will also do the trick.
- Secateurs (gardening scissors) to trim and tidy your plants, and eventually remove your fruit.
- A watering can to fill your pots, or a large jug.
On average, about 3 months; some will be longer, others less. Check out our plant care guides for more info.
Not yet I’m afraid. We’re a small team and are keeping it simple for now. We choose a mix of our favourite seasonal varieties to grow - that combine flavour with reliability. It’s out goal to offer more options in the future.
If you subscribe, then you could be growing 10-15 plants at any one time. But remember, they won't last forever, so you'll be finishing some as you start others.
It depends on what stage your plants are at; we recommend putting 5 mins aside every day to tend to your plants.
Subscription & Deliveries
Of course, and feel free to take a break if you're away for a few weeks.
After you place an order, you'll receive an email with links to manage your subscription. Alternatively, drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll do it for you.
We aim for our plants to arrive in time for the 2nd weekend of each month. This may sometimes be slightly earlier or later - it all depends on Mother Nature's agenda. If this is the case, we will let you know.
Our parcels are sent next day delivery with DPD. You'll receive a notification and tracking details the day before so you can add a delivery note for the driver or reschedule. Note that if you reschedule, we cannot guarantee the quality of the plants on arrival.
Let us know and we’ll do our best to send you the same plant or an equally tasty alternative as soon as possible.
